No textbooks provided or required, although you may choose to obtain texts or other materials for reference and study aids. Please contact us for advice on appropriate materials.
Current Offerings
Join us August 10, 2024 on the Dartmouth College campus for a one-day refresher in Italian or Spanish. This course is appropriate for Italian and Spanish speakers at an intermediate level or above.
Italian refresher topics may include some or all of the following:
- Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns
- Passato prossimo (near past) vs. Imperfect
- Piacere and similar verbs
- Imperative - informal and formal
- Conditional
- Regular and Irregular comparatives
Spanish refresher topics may include some or all of the following:
- Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns
- Preterite vs. Imperfect
- Formal and Informal Commands
- Subjunctive
- Perfect Tenses

Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
Requests for withdrawal must be submitted in writing (email) by 9:00 am ET Thursday, August 1, 2024 for a full refund; withdrawals after this date run the risk of incurring program fee penalties.
Course Confirmation
Course is based on a minimum enrollment requirement. We will confirm the course by 4:00 pm ET Friday, August 2, 2024.
In the event we cancel your enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
We reserve the right to withdraw any program offering or any portion of the program.
